The Wall

The Old Town is surrounded by an ancient wall that has 34 towers. It’s nearly 3662 meters long, and the average of its thickness is 2 meters. The Wall is believed to date back to the Jebusite era.As for the wall we see today, most of it was restored during the time of Sultan Suleiman Al-Qanouni in 1542.
