Markets in Ramadan

Despite the suffering of the shop owners in the Old Town, because of their inability to get the good inside their shops and the taxes levied by the Occupation, the markets still thrive in Ramadan. This is because people and worshippers gather around them, and Ramadan goods are sold on a large scale.
