The Contributions of King Talal regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque
King Talal bin Al-Hussein gave his orders and directives to take care of Al-Aqsa Mosque. In 1953, he established a renovation committee for Al-Qibli and the Rock mosques. This committee took part in the 2nd and 3rd Hashemite renovations. It still fulfills its role to this day.
