Omar bin Al-Khattab

Amir AlMo’mineen, Prince of the Believers, Omar bin Al-Khattab had great military and political approach towards dealing with conquests in the Levant. He focused on the liberation of Jerusalem by sending Abu Ubaydah bin al-Jarrah to liberate it, and he received the keys of the city by himself, and wrote a covenant of safety for its people, titled as Omari Covenant.
