The Roman Orthodox Patriarchate and Monastery
It’s also called the Great Monastery, or Constantine Monastery. It’s located in the Christian Quarter, and was established by the Patriarch Elias I, in 494. It is the center of the Roman Orthodox monasteries in Palestine. It consists of 3 churches: The Church of Saint Helen, the Church of Saint Thecla, and the Church of Saint Jacob.
