Sur Bahir Village
Name: The Crusaders called it (Sarbel).
Location: Less than 6 km to the south-east of Jerusalem with an area of 9,471 dunums.
Occupation Year: 1967 AD.
Surrounding villages: Arab Sawahreh, Silwan, Beit Safafa, Beit Sahour.
Settlements around the village: The village is surrounded on three sides by Zionist colonies (Armon Tsif) in the north, Ramat Rachel and Arnona in the west and Harim Hoffa in the south and the Barrier from the east.
