The Massacre of 614
In 614, Persians invaded Palestine. They deported Christians, robbed Jerusalem, and destroyed the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Jews helped them in that, out of their grudge and desire for revenge. Jews were hoping that Persians would allow them to establish their own state in Jerusalem, but Persians refused and issued high taxes on them.
