Al-Qal’a Mosque – the Mosque of the Castle
It’s inside the Castle of Jerusalem. It dates back to the time of Sultan An-Nasir Mohammed bin Qalawoun. The Ottoman Sultan Suleiman Al-Qanouni restored the mosque and added the minaret. The Occupying Entity took over it in 1988, when they entered Jerusalem, and turned it into a museum.
