Reason for the name
It was named after Sheikh Badr al-Din Ahmed bin Ali Al Muthabit Al-Ansari al-Maqdisi al-Maliki, known as Ibn Al Muthabit (813-730 AH / 1410- 1329 AD) and buried in it.
