The first floor is located on the Rock’s nave. The upper floor is a single room with a flat ceiling. Today, the head office is used for the mosque.
The lower chamber is located under the Rock, across Al- Ashrafieh school. It was built at the beginning of the Ottoman period. It is used today for the purposes of Al-Aqsa mosque.
The southwestern Solitude Placeis located on the western side of the Rock’s nave, the southwestern, close to Al-Nahwaya school and it seems to have been built after (1222 AH / 1807 AD).
