Located to the right of external side of the door of Hetta, and established by the Companion Karim al-Din bin Muallem Hebat allah.
In AH 718 / AD 1318, during the reign of the Mamluk Sultan Muhammad ibn Qalawun, the owner of the title launched.
In the Mamluk era. Karimuddin received many official jobs, though he’s a Qoptic Christian, then Islam and built many mosques and schools in Levant and Egypt. Part of the school was turned into Al Mutahara, which is the part of the ground that overlooks Al-Aqsa Square twentieth century. The upper floor was turned into a residence for the families of Jerusalem.
