It’s location has changed over the islamic periods

In the early Islamic period, the corner was found next to the western pillars. In 1099 AD, the supervisor, Ibn al-Marji, stated that it was next to the western shrine. The western corner of the courtyard was expanded to the basement under the Rock’s nave in the northwestern corner. Al-Khader corner in the Mamluk period was largely neglected and used as a storehouse for the tools and crops of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Today, its location is used as a workshop for the restoration of marble and mosque paintings.

Al-bstamia and Al-smadia Corner
Al- Bastamia or Al-smadya corner got its name because it was built in the place where the poor people in Bastamia used to meet to worship Allah the almighty, this corner is located south-west of Al-Aqsa Mosque and adjoins the stairs of Al-Buraq.
