It has a rectangular shape, consisting of four rooms; the largest one is 4.5 meters long, and 4.6 meters wide, and has two openings. The guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque open the wells daily to ensure there is enough water, to ensure that Israeli excavations do not pass through the network of the wells scattered beneath the mosque.

The Well of Paradise
Located under the nave of the rock; (40 meters) long, (7 m) wide, and (5, 5 m) deep. The shape of the well resembles the channel or rectangle and it has two openings.

Located in the nave of the rock, just to the east of the Office of the Reconstruction Committee, called by its name because it is near the dome of Al-Khalili.
