It is a small mihrab, and can be ascended to by stairs in the southeastern yard. It has a courtyard in its north, which is very small that only one worshipper can enter it.
A small yard built next to the mihrab (used to guard the city and observe what occurs outside the walls).
The mihrab is named after its privileged position, as it is located in the southeast corner of Al-Aqsa Mosque along the eastern wall, and built in the Ottoman period.
Can be ascended to through the stairs in the eastern square of the mosque, and there is a small courtyard next to it that accommodates for one worshiper, the aim of its establishment is guarding the city, and controlling this small mihrab built in the Ottoman period.
