It is located on the southern side of the Rock, between two southern arches, the South and Southeast.
It is located around the Rock’s nave and it’s small.
It is a carved stone shape of a low niche, and made this way to sign that Qibla is in place.
Its height rising from the low stonewall that surrounds the courtyard of the Rock is inside this barrier.
It was probably built in the Ottoman period, since the Rock’s nave was tiled.
