it was named afte the Dome of Tomar, which was once was there next to it but then disappeared. It seemsthat the copiers who used the Tumar calligraphy used to sit in the dome adjacent to it,and this is probably how it got its name. it is a vast terrace that has a very great tree growing sprouting at the north-east edge and providing good shade.
