The Dome of Moses was built above it, and that’s how it got its name. It has a mihrab from a high wall built specifically to highlight the mihrab, and another mihrab in the northern wall of the dome building can be seen from the outside. The niche of the dome extends outward. It is visible on this terrace.
Qubbat Mousa Terrace – The House of Quraan
Qubbat Mousa (The Dome of Moses), also named the House of the Holy Quran, is located east of Bab Al-Silasila. It was built during the Ayyubid or Mamluk era, in 674 AH / 1275 AD.

The south-west terrace is located on the southwest side of the mosque and the Dome of the Rock. It has been built in the modern era, in the twentieth century in half a niche built underground from stone and concrete.
