Location relative to Al-Aqsa
Located in Bab Sahera, specifically to the right of the interior into the old city of Jerusalem from the gate to Al-Aqsa Mosque, where the opposite of the Qadisiyah School. An old mosque, containing the shrine of the governor Sheikh Makki, in 1982 volunteered some of his neighbors to form a committee known as "Committee Sheikh Sheikh Makki Mosque" aimed at the reconstruction of the mosque to pray for the free zone of the mosque.
Reason for the name
Named by this name because it built the place of the tomb of the governor of Makki.
The building started after the approval of the Jerusalem Municipality to form the committee, a mosque opened in the same year with an area of 24 square meters, the following year, and the electricity opened and a small library opened.
