Location relative to Al-Aqsa
It is located in Suwayqah Bab Al-Amoud and specifically to the right of the interior from this gate to the Old Town, opposite the Sheikh Lulu Mosque.
Reason for the name
Named after the Companion Musab bin Omair, who immigrated with the Prophet Muhammad to Abyssinia was the first ambassador to Islam, where he entrusted with the education of the people of the city.

The mosque is characterized by humbleness of the body; it dominated by the building materials, and unevenness in the height of its walls, surrounded by an open yard, which is twice the size of the mosque of 25 m2.
Built in the manner of arches that end closer to the dome, and the height is in the middle 3.5 m, it has an old mihrab with its chest, and includes a simple library containing a few books.
The location of the mosque is less than the level of the neighboring buildings, where it descends by a few stairs.

Mosque and Restoration
