Location relative to Al-Aqsa
Located in the bazaar market on the road leading from Bab Al-Khalil to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Reason for the name
It is called the Bazaar Mosque because it is located in the bazaar market.
The mosque is narrow in its construction 15m2, tiled from the inside, and has a small library and amplifiers overlooking the market, followed by Metwada’; but it depends on the adjacent water cycle of the municipality.
Located in a commercial center active in the movement of people and their return, although the name of an innovator, but the construction shows the old of it.
Many mix between it and another mosque in the same market known as the “Mosque of Ghbayn”.
The documents of the foundation for the revival of heritage and Islamic research to have a servant and there is a dispute between the Waqfs in Jerusalem and the Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1979.
